![Rusty & Doug with Wiley Barkdull - Hey, You There (Hickory 1048) [original 45 rpm version]
1956 cajun country bopper. This is the original 45 rpm version that was reissued on DJM label compilation LP Hillbilly Rock in 1977. Magnum Force label reissued the Hillbilly Rock LP in 1985 but that LP has a different take of this song. Same alternative take was also used on Bear Family LP More Cajun Country Rock and Ace double CD of Rusty & Doug Kershaw and many other reissues. I wonder why this same alternative take has appeared over and over again during the years.
