The first time I understood this song, I was leaving Joshua Tree National Park during a cold sunset, January 2021. The grapevine was shut down and traffic completely stopped because of a snow storm and I had to take the long drive home along the coast (this was when I was still living in California) and had to sleep at a rest stop in the car a few hours from home. What an adventure.
