This composition is inspired by Pinckney Benedict's "Miracle Boy and Other Stories"
This illuminated text project is Lizard's story. From his first act of sin, he goes through the stages of punishment, guilt, atonement, and eventually...forgiveness: "He held Miracle Boy's ruined shoes in front of him. He held them out before him like a gift."
