Myself and Aleks of Vert and Rose are hosting a knitalong! Please join us over on Instagram for Liv's Rainbow KAL 🌈🧶
Sadly, earlier this year Liv Spencer of The Wool Shed unexpectedly passed away and we wanted to run a knitalong in her memory and in support of the Histio UK Foundation.
Liv brought so much joy, bright colour, and love to the yarn community so we wanted to honour that with our knitalong 🌈🧶
Liv's mum Sophie has kept The Wool Shed shop going and is going to be releasing special yarn for the KAL: thewoolshed.bigcartel.com
To participate in the KAL, which is being hosted on Instagram, here are the details:
-The KAL will run from Dec. 10 - Apr. 10
-We are encouraging participants to use any brightly coloured yarn you have
-Crochet projects are absolutely welcome!
-Enter to win one of our fabulous prizes by making a post on Instagram using the hashtag #LivsRainbowKAL (stories won't count to the prize draw)
-You can get bonus entries by using The Wool Shed yarn, knitting one of Vert and Rose's patterns, or by making a donation to the Histio UK Foundation
The following prizes are up for grabs:
1. Marysia Cardigan + SQ of Rowan Yarns (1 winner)
2. Sock yarn from Rowan Yarns (2 winners)
3. Digital pattern from @laura_penrose (3 winners)
4. Yarn from The Wool Shed (1 winner)
5. Wool Shed Enchanted Forest yarn, project bag, and notions (1 winner)

I will be releasing special videos here on YouTube throughout the KAL period and i will donate my revenue from those videos to the Histio UK Foundation
