But the real cause was far more serious: a tumor pressing on her brainstem, triggering trigeminal neuralgia on the opposite side of her face.
Referred to Joshua Bederson, MD, System Chair of Neurosurgery at Mount Sinai through a close friend, Angelique underwent surgery and spent a few months in recovery. She still experiences some facial numbness and hearing loss, but she’s back to her workouts and creating content.
