It’s really easy to see new things and think, yeah, this, this would make my life soooo much better. But does it really? Lately, I’ve been thinking… it’s so easy to get lost in the sauce, so easy to see all the crazy new gadgets and think. Do I really need a new version of this? As a tech content creator I get to play with so much new tech, it really numbs you and makes you completely ignorant of what normal everyday people use and makes new tech in general seem so uninteresting. When I tried an M1 MacBook air again a while back, it made me realize. Tech has gotten so good, that even this older laptop is chugging along nicely. So, for a few days I downgraded my mainly used tech, to older versions to answer the question. From a more budget conscious perspective, when is it actually time to upgrade? Do you need to? And how can we approach upgrading? Let’s talk about it.
