At the end of each year, we focus on closing the gap between our current standards of generosity and the Kingdom standards taught by Jesus through our end-of-year giving campaign, called Living the Liturgy. One of the primary focuses of this year’s Living the Liturgy campaign is preparing for the launch of a new service on the Upper East Side this coming spring. This requires resources, not just for the launch itself, but to set us up well for the future.
Ella, an Upper East Side high school student, tells her story of sharing the gospel with her friends and inviting them to church. Our hope is that this development will go on to bring the kingdom to the Upper East Side and Church of the City more accessible for youth like Ella and other upper East Siders.
