Colossians 3:1-6 shows how the Gospel transforms the believer's priorities, thoughts, and daily conduct. Because those who trust in Christ have been raised with Him, they are called to seek the things above, set their minds on eternal realities, and live in a way that reflects their new identity. This passage reminds us that our hope is secure in Christ and that our future with Him shapes the way we live today.

Paul also gives a clear call to pursue holiness by putting sin to death. Rather than allowing earthly desires to rule our lives, Christians are to live in obedience to Christ as they await His return.
