Church leaders are burning out: pastors, treasurers, Sunday school teachers, moderators, deacons, and on and on. We have a leadership crisis.
This workshop will empower us to develop a faith-based theology of work to provide a resource for ourselves and those in ministry with us that moves beyond simple reminders for self-care. Self-care is critical but no matter how much self-care we practice, if we are don't change how we approach and live out our work, we will burnout again and again.
Learn how to understand your own burnout and how to talk to others about their burnout. Be prepared to engage scripture, history, social science research, spiritual disciplines, and the arts.
