In the Fall of 2016, my fresh crop of micronauts at the University of Puget Sound learned some new insights regarding #MattersMicrobial. I had them read two papers by Margaret McFall-Ngai:

I then asked the students two questions: (1) what was the most amazing thing that they had not known in the reading, and (2) what is one thing that first year students should learn about microbiology as part of the beginning curriculum.
I'm very proud of my students.
