The Tortoise and the Hare is the third Living Books PC-ROM Game. Being based on the famous fable by Aesop, it was retold by Mark Schlitchting as an original story for the Living Books series (hence the first Living Books game to not be based on any existing books) and the CD-ROM along with its included paperback storybook were both released on October 12, 1993.
