Using the EAD10 for live sound gives you a flexible and reliable set-up to capture the sound of your drums and add electrics.
The EAD10 Sensor Unit mounts to the bass drum and captures both a mic signal (for the overall drum sound) and a trigger signal from that sensor.
It mixes/processes that mic signal + trigger signal, lets you apply effects, control balance, etc. It offers Left / Right outputs such that you can route its mixed signal into a PA system and can be added to the overall band mix.
You can additionally connect your Yamaha DTX pad(s) or any compatible trigger pads into the EAD10 Trigger inputs.
Each pad can be assigned a sound from the EAD10 library (toms, effects, percussion, etc.).
You can also blend acoustic + electronic sounds for a hybrid kit.
This gives performing drummers an easy and flexible all in one-system for live situations.
