Sorry for the low effort editing. I am currently very busy with other projects. I hope the video is still useful to some of you even if not all of it is recommended. Let me just point out one mistake. You should not paint-edit your normal maps as I do in this video. It will fix some issues but it really isnt a very clean solution. I only found out afterwards. Anyways, in this video you can see me modeling an entire anime style character from start to finish using zBrush, Marvelous Designer and Blender. The recording is sped up 8 times. The entire project took about 24 hours in total. If you are interested in the 3d model, this character among many others is available for download to my Patrons. The link is below.

This video is the 22nd part of 40 in this very detailed tutorial series about modeling. Ill take you through all the steps of anime style character creation in the 3d software called Blender and without any time lapse.
If you havent watched it already make sure to go through part 0! In that video Ill show you the final result and tell you all about the modifications I did with my version of Blender. Also youll find the references in the description of that video.
By the way, the character design was made by the creators of Sword Art Online and all credit goes to them. Im using it as an example to teach how to work with real characters as youd find them in any animation.
