I thought this discussion would be something that might be healthy to discuss in the booktube community. Being someone who enjoys DARK themes in my reading, I've noticed there seems to be a line drawn when it comes to certain taboo subjects. I've even found myself subconsciously judging authors, wondering, "how could your brain even think this stuff up?!" But when it comes down to it, we're talking about fiction. So do we even have the right to judge people based on their taste in fiction, because it might offend others' sensibilities? How dark is too dark? Is there such thing as too dark?
I'm stoked to have this group of amazing booktubers joining in on this conversation. We have a decent amount of variability in genre preference, so hopefully we can look at this question from different angles. If you haven't already, subscribe! They are all great!
