Daniel Dubois and Fabio Wardley are set to RUN IT BACK as the British heavyweight rivals prepare for a huge world title rematch at The O2 in London.
The pair produced one of the most dramatic heavyweight fights of 2026 when they collided for the WBO Heavyweight World Championship at Manchester’s Co-op Live in May.
Wardley made an incredible start, dropping Dubois inside the opening seconds before putting him down again in the third round. But Dubois survived the early storm and gradually took control, inflicting heavy damage before referee Howard Foster stopped the contest in the 11th round.
The victory saw Dubois become a two-time heavyweight world champion and hand Wardley the first defeat of his professional career.
Wardley (20-1-1, 19 KOs) immediately activated his rematch clause and now gets the opportunity to reclaim his WBO crown, while Dubois (23-3, 22 KOs) looks to prove the first result was no fluke and make the first defence of his latest world title reign.
