I'm a professional Pokémon video game ('VGC') commentator for battles in Scarlet & Violet - but battles in this new game work very differently. No turn-taking, no 2v2s, no KOs to end the game; a 3-minute 4-player free-for-all featuring unlimited revivals & stat-boosting Mega Evolution - whoever claims the most knockouts wins.
