This is a very simple eurorack modular patch using only one oscillator and 2 effects with the Buchla 281t as the main modulation source. I wanted to see how many different complex sounds could come out of a very simple setup. I'm using a random clock pulse from the Frap Tools Sapèl to get everything started and some fluctuating voltage to the waveshaper. I wanted to see how many different soundscapes and musical ideas it could produce. I'm using musical devices like gated reverb to add a rhythmic element, and FM and modulation of the delay pitch to produce different notes. I'm also double gating two of the voices using the Tip Top Audio Buchla 281t to be able to add rhythmic complexity. I hope that the annotations are educational and help you learn something that you can apply to your own electronic experiments. This is entirely live and improvised, so I put up annotations to try to teach you a little bit about what my thought process is when making these. I hope the annotations and camera angles help you learn something!
