Here is a short demonstration of some guitar looping using Ableton Live.
I use a volume pedal to do the volume swells. That's run into Guitar Rig which goes straight to Live's Looper effect. I also am using a little Max for Live device I created to give it a pitch drift sound and some saturation. Other than that, there are a few different delay/reverbs on the send channels.
