My Uncle asked me to sell his model railway collection for him and I was shocked by how little interest there was from the preowned retailers, so I decided to sell it myself.
If you've seen my last couple of videos related to this then you'll be familiar with the collection and quite a few people had a go at valuing it for me with estimates ranging from £100-£1,000.
It took me quite a while, but I listed most of it on eBay. Rather than make a separate video about how much it sold for, I thought it would be more fun to go live. I'll be watching the auctions end anyway, so I may as well have some company. Most auction items end between 6pm and 7pm, so join me live to find out that 1980s model railway stuff is worth.
Is there still a market for steel track? Ringfield motors? Older rolling stock?

The whole collection went for nearly £800 which is the top end of the estimates. Massively helped by the expected value of the wagons and the platform canopies. Proves that it's definitely worth listing everything separately and selling it yourself if you have the time.
