HIIII THESE GUYS ARE BACKK,, this was originally supposed to be a entry for a competition but. i had such a tight deadline and my physical health just rlly worsened when i was trying to get it so i had to give up on that :( but!! im still happy w how this came out :] esp since im still in the process of getting used to davinci again !!!

story expo:
so, tarantulapaw (the big fluffy cat), crocodilepaw (the spiky meaner cat) and sharkpaw (the last flompy looking cat) are a little friend group, however their friendship is not the most. healthy. as croc is an incredibly manipulative cat and both the other cats (esp shark) have fallen deep into her control. crocodile is also a cat who's in a constant search of thrill through risk-taking like breaking various rules set by her clan. but breaking rules also risks her into getting into trouble, hence why she would drag tarantula and shark into it with her - to shift the blame, dampen her punishments. and tarantula was the biggest victim of this blame shifting, as crocodile knew that he'd just bottle up his feelings and accept what was given, and the rest of her overdramatic acting would win over the warrior who catches her in her shenanigans and grant her just a slap on the wrist most of the time.
however, her control over tarantula didn't last forever like she hoped. as moons passed, he lost his temper with it and finally confronted croc about it, which didnt end well and ended with him willingly seperating himself from the group. meanwhile, sharkpaw stayed, not understanding what went on as neither want to explain what happened. he also didnt realise that now, with tarantula gone, there is no one to at least mellow down the challenges croc wants to take on.
and that realization came to fruition when croc convinced shark without much effort to go into a deeper part of the lagoon, where smaller sharks would often frequent, all the while it was also flooding season. at one point, they got surrounded, and in order to get out of the situation alive, croc pushed shark into the water to serve as a distraction for her getaway. she hoped that he'd die, and even when she managed to get back on stable ground, she made up a sob story of how she tried her best to help him get out of there. but shark survived, and he was mad. that perfect ideal of croc he had in his head had broken, and he was furious, he felt betrayed, he wanted her dead.
tarantulapaw (now tarantulajump) was also there when sharkpaw came out of the water, alive. hearing what croc had done, the last little bit of hope that crocodile could somehow become a better cat had broken and he was thoroughly disappointed that someone so cruel could even exist, and that he couldve been so foolish to have spent all this effort and emotion and pain on her.
when sharkpaw was found, tarantula tried his best to hold him back from attacking her, but after having his epiphany, after croc didnt bother to look back and just went on without remorse, he let shark slip from his grasp and do as he pleases. in his eyes, her murder was an act of justice to the world.
