this little guy got flicked bodily across the table by my mother and wouldn’t even fly away. he must have been extremely low on energy. luckily for him, he landed in a pile of watermelon juice, the sippage of which i have documented for you lovely people.

i came back to check on him about a minute later and he looked to be in much greater spirits, cleaning his legs and head and such. i was about to take a follow-up video, but he buzzed off. such is the life of a fly-follower.
