note from little cloud: "i used to write more than anything and this song is the closest ive come to making music that sounds like how i felt when i was writing. does that make sense? sometimes when i look at my boyfriend i want to cry because i love him so much and i dont know how to make him realise just how much. the word you has a lot of significance to me. i like to think of it as a pronoun to replace 'it'. like say for example i dont know instead of "it is raining" you could say "you are raining" and it would mean the same thing only better. haha. i guess it has something to do with love or whatever. thank you to my boyfriend for making some hi hats for me in this song because im still not very good at hi hats. and thank YOU for listening to my song i hope its ok. i love you."

note from ryan: "i feel like i've known little cloud for ages but also not at all. her music and aesthetic is something i'd wanted to find for a while before coming across her soundcloud. honestly in line with some of my favorite works by aphex twin, boards of canada, clark and tycho. which some people will call sacrilege but eventually we need to let the newer generation into the big leagues that ONLY those names seem to occupy. I think artists like little cloud, who maybe only occupy the internet right now, are already proving their value in contemporary ambient music."
