So I came across a company at CES by the name of Donut Labs that claims to have created a pure Solid State Battery. If this is true, then this will be a game changer. With the creation of a solid state batteries, our understanding of how energy is used and stored will change. Solid State Batteries will give us the power to harness a lot of energy into small packages giving us the flexibility to install large battery capacities into small devices such as phones & tablets, and also large equipment such as cars and trucks.
This technology will pave the way for a new battery generation. Also, in this review, I will break down the topology on how lithium and solid state batteries differ.
