A good looking memory level with a great song? Of course I had to try it. Very learny though, as expected. First time I dropped it was because of the last click, then came back to learn the 67 ufo to 100 and dropped it again. Came back again recently and managed to learn the rest without any issue. Most of my time playing was just learning/getting consistent.
I usually don't react like this when beating levels anymore, but I was racing someone on a bet sponsored by Sw4p and I beat the level literally a couple of minutes after the bet was made so I was just freaking out when it happened. I got Resident Evil Requiem out of it, so I'd say the reaction was justified.
As much as I like the song, I think the drop part repeats a bit too much. This surprisingly has one of the best predrops I've ever played. It's hard to make them consistent and engaging while not making them boring but this level pulls it off. Never really got mad playing this level.
While it's not too bad, the drop transition really did not have to be blind. Quite spammy as well. I don't really like 21-32. Not only does it look mid but the gameplay is pretty awful too. Double orb click at 23 combined with an awful ball part was really not it. The wave pattern at 28 was also pretty bad with the random double click.
The midsection was really good but then you get to the 53% ball which is a somewhat blind transition and the ball itself pretty tricky.
We then get to the most useless double click in the whole level at 60%, combined with some pretty difficult gameplay up until 62. The ufo at 67 was the most annoying part to learn other than 21-32. It got consistent but man was it a drag because of all the movement triggers.
The part after was alright and then 84-100 was my favorite part, although very difficult for an ending. The red orbs at 86 are just so weird. Lastly, let me talk about 98-100. The last click is pure evil. It's really stupid to put a blind timing as the last click. Thankfully I fluked it but it's a horrible way to end the level.
With that said, I did enjoy playing this as I got quite lucky with it. It's a solid level to go for even though it has some issues. ConClusion is still the best memory level though.
Oh and fun fact: after 6 years, Ragnarok is no longer in my top 10 hardest completions thanks to this level which is pretty crazy to think about. I have no idea how this is in my top 3, right below Fragile and Zodiac. Completed on 4/30/26
