Due to the LISA geometry, the laser noise will dominate by 8 orders of magnitude the gravitational wave signal. Time Delay Interferometry (TDI) algorithm was developed to recombine in post-processing the interferometric signals and synthesize equal arms interferometer in order to remove the laser phase noise of future LISA data. This algorithm is crucial for the success of the LISA mission and needs to be tested with simulated data before launch.In order to avoid noise aliasing in LISA bandwidth and transmit data to Earth, a set of Cascaded integrator–comb (CIC) and Finite Impulse Response (FIR) filters will filter and downsample the data onboard.

For several years and with the support of CNES, an electro-optical bench for metrological demonstration named LOT (LISA On Table) has been set up at APC. The objective of this bench is to demonstrate experimentally several aspects of TDI, characterize its frequency response and assess the noise residuals. The processed data from the LOT show a coupling between TDI and the CIC filter. Although the decimation scheme is not the same in LOT as on LISA, this presentation aims to quantify the impact of this coupling for a simplified LISA constellation in transponder model.
