Jake Bishop | Lions of Al-Rassan review(spoiler free) @jakebishop7822 | Uploaded September 2021 | Updated October 2024, 17 hours ago.
The lions are unfortunately metaphorical, but this is still maybe my favorite not Robin Hobb book I have read this year. I liked it even more then Tigana, although I think it is stylistically different, and may appeal to different people.
This book cemented GGK as one of my favorite authors, and I will be reading one of his books a month until i'm done. I especially think Malazan fans will enjoy it, due to how it is written, and the way there is no clear sides.
