Linux Lite 7.8 is officially out, bringing a lightweight and stable Linux experience based on Ubuntu 24.04.3 LTS. This release ships with Linux kernel 6.8 by default, support for newer kernels up to Linux 6.18 LTS, and a modernized set of in-house tools rewritten in Python and GTK4.
