On Linux, the Microsoft Edge window may be missing minimize, maximize, and restore buttons regardless of distro, desktop environment, or installation method.
To fix this, close the browser completely and open the Preferences file located in the browser’s config folder (inside the Default directory). In the "browser" section, add:
,"custom_chrome_frame":false,
Save the file and relaunch Edge. The window buttons will return, and the title bar menu options will update accordingly.
