Custom BIM tagging workflows often require more than editing existing tag styles.

This lesson explains how BIM tags are controlled through the _SectionTag.dwg and _TagTypeToStyle.xml source files, and how these files work together. You will learn how to modify MLeader styles, edit tag blocks, understand BIM entity-to-tag style mappings, and configure options such as autoplacement, autorotation, and tag offsets.

The lesson also demonstrates how to link newly created MLeader styles to BIM entities via XML mappings and extend BIM tagging support to additional classified objects.
