As the Lindsay Clancy trial draws closer to an end, both the prosecution and defense rested their cases as a full courtroom gallery watched Wednesday. Law&Crime’s Sierra Gillespie was inside the courtroom and discussed the number of people in attendance compared with the start of the trial. She also described a woman who came to court to support Lindsay Clancy’s grandmother. According to Gillespie, the woman brought a bouquet of flowers to hand out to people who needed them and arrived with her dog. With closing arguments ahead, Gillespie noted that several spectators appeared emotional as the trial moved closer to a verdict.
