Without actually buffing the shield talent, the new Phalanx caster module makes Lin even more durable, especially during S3. The cohesive synergy between her trait and shield talent makes this module extremely valuable - Both strengthening her capability in absorbing damage, and increasing the value she gets from being hit. Not only is she immortal against almost 90% of the ranged physical attacks in game, she is now also to cycling her S3 extremely fast by taking advantage of enemies who hit her fast enough but not hard enough to break her shields.
