"big" jack horner, formerly known as "little" jack horner, is the main antagonist of dreamworks' 43rd full-length animated film, puss in boots: the last wish, a spin-off of the shrek franchise and the sequel to both puss in boots and shrek forever after.
he is a feared pastry chef and crime lord who has a history of stealing various magical items, creatures and people ever since he was snubbed of fairy-tale fame. horner plots to reach the wishing star in order to enact his wish to harness all of the magic on the planet, racing against puss in boots and goldilocks for the wish.
he was voiced by john mulaney, who also played ferguson toddle in saturday night live and andrew glouberman in big mouth.
"lil'" gideon charles gleeful (born early july 2002)[5] is a former fraudulent child psychic, whose hunger for ultimate power motivates him to manipulate and intimidate others into giving him what he wants. a sworn enemy of the pines family, he serves as the main antagonist in season 1, until his eventual defeat and incarceration. he was largely absent from the first half of season 2 but returned during the final half of the season as the secondary antagonist, serving bill cipher. despite being an antagonist throughout the majority of the show, he later sees the error of his ways during weirdmageddon and tries to live his life as an ordinary citizen.
gideon represents the one-eyed pentagram associated with the bill cipher zodiac, due to his usage of it as the insignia of his former business, the tent of telepathy.
