My prompt entry for constellion's monthly prompt! The prompt for this month is nostalgia so I drew this PMV as if Cynthia is the singer reminiscing on how she and her husband, Morpheus, met.

Story:
Morpheus is a soldier appointed to Cynthia’s children’s hospital as they’ve started taking in travellers and immigrants who need medical aid. Because of this there could be criminals and people who could harm the current residents of the hospital.
At first Morpheus wasn’t happy that he was appointed here, he felt that it would be boring as he’d be meandering the gardens on patrol making and checking up on staff. He felt like he would lose his entire social life as the hospital was a ways away from the nearest large city (there is a little town close by). He was happy that he didn’t have to live in the hospital like many of the staff did and that he got a small house at the foot of the hill the hospital was on. Most people would complain having to go up and down the hill for work but he has wings so getting up to the top wasn’t a problem and probably the reason why he was appointed to this hospital in the first place.
As he was patrolling the gardens one early morning he came across Cynthia, one of the doctors and the founder of the hospital. She was reading a book at the foot of the large apple tree in their garden. Morpheus strolled up to her and asked if she’d like to accompany him for the rest of his patrol and she agreed saying that it was time for her to check up on all the early risers anyways. As they walked Morpheus asked Cynthia about some of the residents and she talked about three young children, Iroh, Clover and Altaria, who seemed to have zero friends or family so she took them in as her own. She felt bad though that she wasn’t allowed to leave the hospital property so neither could the kids. As they reached the entrance of the building Morpheus offered to take them down to the town sometimes and if they needed to go to school he would take them as well. Cynthia was overjoyed and relieved to hear this and thanked Morpheus as she entered the hospital to find Clover holding his comfort blanket and staring wide eyed at her. She scooped him him and brought him back to his room so he could changed out of his pyjamas. Morpheus smiled as he turned away from the door and continued his patrol.
As the days pass Morpheus and Cynthia start talking more, Cynthia joining Morpheus’s morning patrol becomes a daily routine. At this point Morpheus as met Cynthia’s three children and has taken them down to the town multiple times during his lunch break. One night as he returns to his house he leans against the wall and stared at the ceiling wondering if he had feelings for Cynthia. He felt like it wouldn’t be a good idea to confess them as he needs to be loyal to guarding the hospital without any distractions. He continues to grow closer to Cynthia and her adopted children; Iroh, Clover and Altaria and when Iroh becomes the age where they should begin full time schooling Morpheus offers to take them there so Cynthia can continue her duties at the hospital. Day after day Morpheus gets roped into more and more of the children's activities and becomes a secondary parent to them. On a sunny day on Iroh's return from school they run over to Cynthia and exclaims "Mom! Mom! Can Morpheus become our dad??" and that became the day where Morpheus and Cynthia started dating.
Four years pass, Morpheus and Cynthia grew closer and eventually marry. On their wedding day Morpheus officially becomes Iroh, Clover and Altaria's legal guardian and their dad.
