Indian studio Lijo Reny Architects has designed residential house which features external walls made out of stacked terracotta blocks.

Named The Stoic Wall Residence, the large house, with 680-square-metre footprint, is located in Kadirur, India. The residence is split into four zones aver three vertical levels which align with the natural typography of the site. The primary section was designed to be on the north site to minimise solar heat gain.

The structure is primarily made of laterite, terracotta and teak wood. It also features courtyards and greenery amongst its form.
