Join me as I visit Lightwater Valley in Rippon Yorkshire for the first time in over 7yrs, the park is now called Lightwater Valley Family Adventure Park and was bought out by The Mellors Group at the start of the season
I was joined by good friends Paul, Chris and Charlie (Go Theme Parks) and we genuinely had a fun day out, the park was very busy with young families however we went for their new coaster called Spinning Racer which is awesome
The park still has that “family only” feel about it which in turn made me feel rather uncomfortable filming, the park also still feels very barren in places but hopefully the Mellors can sort it out by adding more in the future
It was a very cheap day out at only £23.63 a ticket per person and to be honest there isn’t much for the thill seekers however Spinning Racer is definitely worth the visit alone, there’s still plenty for families and the park itself is beautiful and much bigger than you think
