Anyway, I've found more of my personal favorite lightning strike sound effects. I found them on the sound effects wiki website. These sounds were heard in a lot of stuff from the 80s and 90s. Particularly, the Poltergeist movies, the Star Trek films, Masters of the Universe (1987), Total recall (1990), Twister (1996), various anime like Naruto, the Transformers Unicron trilogy, Akira (1988), the Pokemon anime and its movies from the late 90s and into the 2000s. Even in smaller works like Open Water (2003), and was last heard in Moonfall (2022). The earliest I can trace these sounds was when the "spark," sound at the beginning was heard in Star Trek 3: the search for Spock. But, the website says that it was created in Willow (1988). Yeaaaaah, that's not accurate. Anyway, enjoy!
