I was invited to join an IC for Illuminated Studios, and this video is the result of four days work. I could have taken an extra day, but I did all I wanted. I was initially not going to join, or was going to drop, but I heard this song and it caught my interest.
I've always wanted to make a music video for Your Lie in April, but I could never find a song that worked for me. I didn't want to create a typical video for the series, I wanted to create something different with it. Hopefully I was able to accomplish that, I think I did the best I could.
The story is basically that Kousei is having his way lit by a spirit or guardian or whatever you want to interpret Kaori as. He comes out of his depression and abusive past and is able to see things in a new way. That's the basic premise.
