Part 1 of 3 - Featherweight 221 Light Wiring Series, Cleaning the Lead Sheath

The lead sheath (on Singer Featherweight 221 models, dating from 1933 to 1957 if manufactured in the US and from 1947 - approx 1951 if manufactured in the UK) covers the light wires and often requires careful cleaning and maintenance if there is any white oxidation present. On our next tutorial, we will actually remove the light wiring and show how to clean, repair or replace those parts. Today is just a basic cleaning.
