As a resident of Thousand Oaks, CA, I experienced firsthand the tragedy in our community caused by the Borderline shooting along with the Hill and Woolsey fires. Many close friends will sadly forever be impacted by these events. In times like these, it's difficult to see good, light, and love. This spoken word was written in response--to speak of the One who can show us and sows in us love--the only remedy for our condition.
