The t-shirt “Light Shining Over Ground” features the picture that appears in the centerfold page of the booklet of the Canadian version of the album “Between Illness And Migration”. This picture, taken in Barcelona, where the cover picture of the album has also been taken, is, just like the album, a shining light through desperation. Even though our surrounding may be dark, there is always a light for us to see. And sometimes, this light, as little as it can be, shines at our feet just above the ground, just a little below what our eyes can see, slightly above the line of our own horizon. Wherever this light is, and whatever it is made of, it is up to us to find it, make it ours, and allow it to guide us to roads untraveled, on a journey that will bring us to the end of our night, to discover not only what the journey itself is made of, but what we all are made of.

Filmed in Japan, Australia and Montreal, 1-2-3 (One Step Away) could be described as being heartfelt, real, intriguing, disturbing, honest, human, soulful and artsy. A deep succession of raw imageries to drown into and to completely immerse yourself in.
Its a song I wrote reflecting the let go of the personal elements that hold us back in our present state of saddened hearts and keep our soul captive in the despairs of the past. Its truly a personal song by nature, but a collective state. We may mourn the impermanence of life, but we can all elevate ourselves with the euphoria of rebirth, says Alex Foster, who has also closely directed the video, following a long journey.
Following the unique “Between Illness and Migration” album theme, “1-2-3 (One Step Away)” moves the story forward to that moment of contemplation and psyching oneself up to take that fateful step forward, away from the pain and devastation, into something more positive and hopeful.
