You will be thrust straight into the Light of Hope Story mission once you have completed the Dark Roots Story mission in the 247 CE Antiquity Era and it will have you run through the games opening mission again with a few tweaks namely needing to take down a Gozuki boss as well as using your newly acquired Guardian Spirits to traverse through the level.
Once you are through the courtyards drop down into the well and take on Tokugawa Kunimatsu who killed you at the start of the game. This time you need to put him down so go in with plenty of Lightning defence and Fire offence.
