I met Sirbaugh in my Twitch chat.
He was kind and was the first to call me “sister” while I streamed.
He gave me big sweeping compliments and made me feel like a real musician.
I was recently informed on my Discord that my friend, Sirabugh, has passed away.
Months ago, I had sent my song, Light in the Dark to him to produce and he gave me this mp3 that you can hear in the video above.
Right after he said he wanted to do more work on it and then I got the news of his passing.
This song will stay in this mp3 format and live on in its "unfinished" and perfectly finished state forever.
I am also so blessed to have had several wonderful vocalists join me on this last chorus of the piece.
This song in particular brings to light so many dark places that we can feel as humans and I certainly hope that in this somber moment of Sirbaugh's passing we can call remember that there still can be a light in the dark.
