After deleting social media for 2 years, I decided it was time to get rid of my smartphone. 📲 I was burnt out, lazy and comparing myself with everyone online. I realized we'd rather believe that life is out of control than to actually have to take control and do something about it.
I spent the past 3 months living life without my smartphone. I've learned so many things through this experience that i'm going to share on this video. My focus and memory improved immediately after I started spending less time on my phone. The less time I spent on technology, the more I started to read and embrace alone time.
Although technology benefits the world, it often takes so much from us. It steals our peace, happiness and contentment that we so deeply need. It's not about getting rid of your smartphone forever, but learning to spend less time on it. Take steps away and begin to experience the real world again. Lay down what is promising you happiness and pickup the things that actually give it to you.
