Dr. Daphne Munroe studies coastal ecosystems in the midst of climate change. In the student authored short science film "Life on the Edge: Exploring New Jersey's Coastal Ecosystem", Dr Munroe examines the epic annual horseshoe crab migration that transforms New Jersey beaches and attracts magnificent migratory birds hungry for horseshoe crab eggs. Munroe and team investigate the horseshoe crabs' interaction with rack and bag oyster farms established along the shallow shores of the Delaware Bay that are helping to revive New Jersey’s oyster production.
