[ Plot (slight spoilers) ]
After the prisoners escaped from the arena, a Sandwing noticed that Katniss was left to be taken away by guards. They told the leader and a small group was sent to free her, they succeeded and brought Katniss to the beach, where guards had followed them. A battle took place and two lives were lost, the rebels fled. A new, more kind Queen soon took over Skyline's reign and formed a bond with the rebels, ending the rebellion and ending in an alliance of the tribes.
