Few can say they’ve hit golf balls off the back of a destroyer. But after a few weeks on a Navy ship, you’ll have done much more than that. Sailors have ice cream socials, karaoke nights, poker and basketball tournaments, play video games and even family meals. Our ships range in size from “floating cities,” like aircraft carriers which transport thousands of Sailors, to destroyers, which may carry just 300. Whether you’re working in the kitchen, the engine room, the flight deck or at the helm, it takes everyone to execute a successful mission.
