This series looks at three unique habitats in Botswana that stand in stark contrast to the Kalahari: the sacred Tswapong Hills contain spectacular cliffs and teem with wildlife including baboons, leopards and hyenas; the Makgadikgadi Basin is a mecca for flamingos and pelicans as well as home to the magnificent Kalahari lions; the Okavango's flood plains are home to many of Africa's big predators and the indigenous semi-nomadic tribes in whose hands its future rests.
