Pluto's contracts have this incredibly annoying interaction with each other where the Light contract, Lies contract and Amplify contract combine to make it so that I have to spend all my light every turn with randomized costs while hoping the amplified cost doesn't eat 25% of my HP. Thankfully, the page that detached counter dice constitute are treated as the same cost as the first counter dice queued. One last annoying note is clogging the hand with 5 contracts at all times, necessitating use of PT to dodge that mechanic.
The shades are the dealbreakers when it comes to an assistant librarian soloing Pluto and Hokma himself. PT can make a deck full of counter dice to render the shades nonthreats. Since shades will always play their mimic card on their slowest speed die, Pluto is taking the brunt of the counter blocks and dies in fairly reasonable time.
Hokma's shades, on the other hand, are nigh unkillable, unstaggerable puppets that spam blunts every turn on both of their dice, drawing damage away from Pluto and dealing far more damage to Hokma. Since they can't copy cards, every other turn is all 8 copies of I'm the Real One, this results in being unable to block all of it and Pluto even with an impossible 4 Serpentine Barriers, meaning Sound of a Star would have to come out and beat it every time, provided you even reach that far. All factors combined make completing that a borderline impossible feat of luck.
