[1.17; 1.13+] Water Makin Flyin Machines! or, Linear Curtains & Planar Layers DatNerd 2023-04-13 | NOTE: 9:16 "I actually misspoke a little bit earlier (in reference to 1:26)—" I did misspeak! But, I then misspoke again! You do only need 2 water sources to initialize the 3-directional machine. One of those will always be the waterlogged stair. For the 3-directional machine, the secondary seed water source needs to be on top of the observer, not necessarily on the sea lantern (though placing the sea lantern as a third water source is benign, and won't hurt). This is because the station moves the inner flying machine once forward before launching it. However, if you are starting the inner flying machine from a static position, then you'll need the water source on the sea lantern, not necessarily the water source on top of the observer.TL;DR: Putting the three water sources at 1:26; though extra in all intended cases, covers all cases.Could not figure out how to fix the aspect ratio, nor the framerate—but I did fix the audio desync in post this time! One step at a time! These are some Water Makin' Flyin' Machines, for automatically making either a line or a layer of water sources. I hope y'all find them useful, if not fun. This line of splitters was finished in January or so, and I'm working through the backlog of videos. I tried my best to be as thorough as possible, but I may have teetered the line of over-explanation, so please direct me your questions if you have them.This shulker box splitter has the ideal output, and is filter item proof by virtue of having no filter items. There are also no internal dust updates during splitting cycles--albeit some for hopper locking, and status outputs. The wiring is directly transferrable to 1.12, but I think some glass blocks need to be replaced with slabs.
