In this video we discuss 5 differences that we have observed while celebrating LGBTQ+ Pride in Copenhagen, compared to cities in America.
Since we have been living in Copenhagen after moving to Denmark 5 years ago, Pride is one of our favorite weeks of the year. There are a lot of things that make it special celebrating LGBTQ+Pride in Denmark - and we cover them in this video. As we discuss them, we compare each one to Pride events in the Unites States.
Some of the differences between LGBTQ+ Pride in Copenhagen vs. America are who is included, how political and non-political certain aspects are and even where it's located in the city. Of course, there are also many aspects of Danish culture that set apart all LGBTQ+ events in Denmark compared to those in the USA.
